The Matsuru "Kempo" is a great choice for beginners and intermediates.
The uniform works perfectly for Kempo (Karate and Jiu Jitsu) and is a very good choice for Kobudo and Self-defense as well.
Made from 35% cotton and 65% Polyester this uniform is quite robust while it doesn't add up a lot of weight (12 Oz. per square meter of fabric).
